Our Heart

Dave and Shellby met in 2013 in what can only be described as a whirlwind romance, ordained by God.

They both grew up in ministry families, with Dave’s parents being children’s and youth pastors for 7 years, followed by founding a church in Connecticut which they pastored for 17 years. Shellby’s parents were always serving in their local church, and her father was a director at a nationwide prison ministry.

When God brought them together He began to place a vision on the inside them: to teach the believer who they are in Christ and thereby strengthen the local church.

“When Christians begin to see that by grace through faith, they have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you’ll begin to see the church walking in the greater works that Jesus described in John 14:12 and see the supernatural become a normal part of the believers’ life,” says Dave.

“We need to recognize who we are in Christ,” adds Shellby. “Once we begin to see ourselves as God sees us, our lives will begin to match what we see in the Bible.”

UNDERSTANDING THE REVELATION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

The core message of this ministry is the revelation of righteousness - that is, that God has made you righteous through your faith in what Jesus Christ has done on the cross for you. Your righteousness is not of yourself, it is a gift from God. Paul tells us.

"But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe." Romans 3:21-22

By Grace International was birthed out of this vision: To declare to the Church that Jesus has made them righteous and qualified them to stand faultless before His throne!  We believe that as the Church grasps this, we will begin to do the greater works Jesus prophesied over us!

We do this in a few ways:

  1. Speaking in churches - we believe the local church is the most powerful force on the face of the earth, and that when the church begins to grasp WHO they are and WHOSE they are, they will go out and affect their world.

  2. Ministering at conferences and special events - these are great opportunities for believers to come together out of their everyday lives and learn in a focused atmosphere designed to lift up Jesus.

  3. Courses, books, and other materials - we have 2 books that are coming out soon as well as our first ever online course, and we believe that these resources will empower you to live out your Christian life beyond where you have been living.
